Testimonies

We would be very grateful to receive testimonies regarding different aspects of the Maine Coon.

We are definitely interested by breeders’ experiences and precious testimonies. But we are, of course, equally interested by those of Maine Coons’ owners who are willing to talk about their cat(s).

We are currently putting at your disposal several themes that are going to be put on-line on different pages, under the heading « Testimonies ». Here is the list (it can, of course, be extended):

- Advices for the kitten’s arrival in its new home

- Maine Coon’s growth

- Maine Coon’s behaviour

-  Grooming and preparation in view of an exhibition

-  What is the goal of showing your Maine Coon?

-  Maine Coon’s health in general

-  Games, dangers and pleasures…

- Based on your experience, what would you advise against?

-  Neutering: what do you think about it?

-  The pedigree and its reason for being

-  A breed cat: an important decision

-  Why did I choose a Maine Coon?

NB:

- Our webmaster has the right to correct possible grammar mistakes or typos.

- Each testimony is a commitment of the person who sent it and it only commits his/her thoughts.

- We will try, as far as possible, to propose you to work in team for the writing, in order to develop in the best way some notions that might have been omitted or poorly developed in your testimonies. This procedure will essentially be done by e-mail and with our webmaster.

- We are going to give priority to lived experience rather than to simply reported experience

- Slandering is forbidden

- Informal language is banned

- Remember that short and clear information is more understandable than long and literary one.
-  Testimonies will be signed and a link to a website can be added at the end of the document

-  The author allows the translation of his/her testimony from English to French.

Saremmo felici di poter ricevere testimonianze sui diversi aspetti
del Maine Coon.

Chiaramente, siamo molto interessati dalle esperienze degli allevatori e dalle loro preziose testimonianze. Ma siamo ugualmente interessati da quelle di semplici proprietari di Maine Coons desiderosi di parlare del/dei loro gatto/i.

Proponiamo per ora una serie di temi che verranno messi online sotto il titolo “Testimonianze”. Ecco la lista (che potrà, ovviamente, essere estesa):

- Consigli per l’arrivo del cucciolo nella sua nuova casa

- La crescita del Maine Coon

- Il comportamento del Maine Coon

-  Preparazione in vista di un’esposizione

-  Perché mostrare il vostro Maine Coon?

-  La salute del Maine Coon in generale

-  Giochi, pericoli e piaceri…

- In base alla propria esperienza, cosa sconsigliare?

-  La sterilizzazione:  cosa ne pensate?

-  Il pedigree e la sua ragione d’essere

-  Un gatto di razza: una decisione importante

-  Perché ho scelto un Maine Coon?

NB:

- La nostra webmaster ha il diritto di correggere gli eventuali errori grammaticali o le eventuali bozze.

- Ogni testimonianza impegna unicamente coloro che l’hanno scritta e riflette solamente quanto pensano.

- Cercheremo nel limite del possibile, di proporvi un lavoro di squadra per la scrittura delle diverse testimonianze, in modo da sviluppare nozioni che possono essere state omesse o solo parzialmente sviluppate. Ciò sarà fatto essenzialmente via e-mail con la nostra webmaster.

- Daremo precedenza alle esperienze vissute personalmente piuttosto che a quelle semplicemente raccontate.

- É proibita la diffamazione.

- É proscritto utilizzare un linguaggio scorretto.

- Ricordatevi che un’informazione chiara e concisa é più comprensibile che non una lunga e letterale.

- Le testimonianze dovranno essere firmate e un link verso un sito web potrà essere aggiunto alla fine di ogni documento.

- L’autore delle testimonianze accetta che siano tradotte in inglese o francese.
